About CMM
Con Mis Manos Deaf Ministry is a non-denominational Christian non-profit organization serving the Deaf community and their families in Northeastern Mexico. Our ministry headquarters are located in the city of Matamoros, Tamaulipas just across the border from Brownsville, Texas.
MINISTRY VISION
Through Christ-centered education and outreach, Deaf individuals and their families will come to know the truth of God’s love and His gift of salvation.
Con Mis Manos strives to provide resources to assist Deaf individuals in recognizing their God-given worth, developing their unique abilities, and becoming confident, productive members of their communities.
MINISTRY OBJECTIVES
At Con Mis Manos, every activity is guided by the following objectives:
- Christ-Centered Biblical Outreach
Provide Biblical teaching and spiritual growth opportunities, both in person and online, through Deaf-led worship services and discipleship activities. - Educational Services
Provide educational opportunities based in Mexican Sign Language (LSM) for Deaf individuals of all ages. - Vocational Training
Equip Deaf teens and adults with vocational skills to promote gainful employment and financial stability. - Family and Community Support
Strengthen Deaf individuals and their families by providing meaningful support services, including medical care, food and clothing assistance, counseling, legal advocacy, and safe housing for those in need.
